Meet Instructor Morgan Byrne

Meet Morgan!

 

Morgan’s joy and enthusiasm for practicing yoga shines in her teaching. She brings high energy and an outgoing personality. She provides clear directions and gives options for yogis of all levels to help ensure each student can connect to their mind, body, and breath.

 

When a family friend offered Morgan a free summer yoga pass in 2004 she said “yes please and thank you!” Throughout most of her life Morgan suffered from frequent migraines. She discovered when she showed up to yoga even with a migraine it would go away within minutes of beginning the breathing exercises. Morgan is not sure why she stopped going to yoga after that summer and only started practicing again in 2014. What she does know is that since she has returned to a consistent yoga practice she has found inner and outer strength she never knew she had. She learned to breathe through discomfort, pain, and fear thanks to yoga. Morgan completed her 200 hour RYT at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India in October 2019. She holds a B.S. in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Utah.

 

Fun Facts:

  • Morgan has lived on both coasts (California, Virginia, and North Carolina) and found her happy home in Utah in 2011.
  • Morgan loves to think of herself as a modern day pioneer woman and enjoys making candles, lotion, and jewelry as well as baking and cooking.
  • Morgan is a board game nerd! Her favorite board games include Settlers of Catan, Wingspan, Azul, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
